Nous proposons une série de maquettes vous permettant de reconstituer le funiculaire du Tréport (département de Seine Maritime, France).

Cette ligne relie le littoral au sommet de la falaise, 76 mètres plus haut. Ouverte en 1908, elle connait une histoire compliquée. La ligne originale s'arrête en 1941. En 1958 le parcours est rouvert via une télécabine. De nouveau fermé en 1982, il faut attendre 2006 pour que des ascenseurs inclinés soient mis en service.

Notre maquette reproduit le funiculaire dans son état d'origine avec ses deux cabines en bois qui évoluent simultanément sur deux voies parallèles d'une pente d'environ 50%.
La gare haute a la particularité de se trouver enfoncée dans le sol au déboucher d'un tunnel, ce qui fait que nous ne la représentons pas.
La gare basse était cachée par un élégant bâtiment en brique, démoli depuis longtemps. Nous avons choisi d'en faire une évocation avec deux guérites qui reprennent les mêmes motifs mais qui ne cachent pas les voies.

We propose a series of models allowing you to replicate the funicular of Treport (department of Puy de Dôme, France).

This line connects the coastline to the top of the cliff, 76 meters higher. Opened in 1908, it is experiencing a complicated story. The original line is closed in 1941. In 1958 the route is reopened via a cable car. Once again closed in 1982, it was not until 2006 that inclined lifts were commissioned.

Our model reproduces the funicular in its original state with its two wooden cabins that evolve simultaneously on two parallel tracks with a slope of about 50%.
The high station has the particularity of being buried in the ground at the end of a tunnel, so that we do not represent it.
The lower station was hidden by an elegant brick building, demolished for a long time. We chose to make an evocation with two sentry boxes which incorporate the same grounds but do not hide the tracks.
